Installing a Steadyrack is easy for anyone with basic DIY skills; no need to hire anyone to do the job! All the fixings required to install into any timber or masonry (concrete/brick) surface are also provided.

After much deliberation I decided to purchase three Proflex (wide) racks and two Gearmates for my mtb, emtb and gravel bikes.
The ordering process was easy and the items delivered within a couple of days of ordering. All items arrived complete and in good condition.
The racks came with clear, detailed instructions and were relatively easy to install with basic DIY skills. I spaced mine 600mm apart, which was just adequate for my mtb / gravel / emtb array, allowing each to pivot freely and without contact between handlebars. However, if you have more space I'd say use it, but in any case it is worth taking some time to plan your layout carefully. The racks are robust, and it is a simple operation to load / unload my bikes.
The Gearmates provided the perfect finishing touch to my bike storage set up, with a suitable selection of brackets, bins and hooks for my shoes, helmets etc. Again, easy to assemble.
Once installed, I had a followup query regarding some additional items i wished to purchase, for which the Steadyrack Customer Support service was responsive and helpful.
In summary, there may be cheaper bike storage options available, but I'd be surprised if they come close to matching these in terms of quality, layout flexibility, usefulness and visual appeal.
I am very happy with my bike racks and the support offered by Steadyrack. Money well spent in my opinion, and I would happily purchase again.

Bought 4 of these for basement storage 6 months ago and so far they've been great. Very impressed with how sturdy and good looking they are, and it's easy to roll the bikes up into them (we have ours set so the rear tires are about 3" off the floor) and swing them to the side as needed. I'll probably buy more someday for garage storage as well. Note: we put ours into wall studs with typical 16" spacing which is pretty close together, but it worked out in our situation because the handlebars happened to not interfere too much ... but we could always just shift some of them up or down a couple of inches if needed.

Expensive wall rack, let down by cheap hardware! First bolt snapped the head off about 10mm from snug into a timber stud. Even pre drilled the holes 0.5mm bigger than directed. I was lucky a pair of vice-grips could save the day!!
Save yourself some pain and head to Bunnings first.
Once on wall, works as expected.

We hung this up outside to our brick wall. It works amazingly and has given us so much space back. Will be buying a second one! Just be aware, if you have a basket on the back of your bike to raise it by a good few centimeters.
